ANKA UAS Industrial Collaboration Program (ICP) Obligation Satisfied

20 May 2025, Langkawi – At LIMA 2025, Turkish Aerospace officially received the renovated No. 11 Squadron hangar from G7 Aerospace, marking the completion of a key Industrial Collaboration Programme (ICP) milestone under the ANKA UAS contract. The hangar will serve as the Main Operating Base for the Royal Malaysian Air Force’s ANKA UAS.

Witnessed by the Prime Minister, the handover represents one of eleven ICP projects tied to Malaysia’s ANKA UAS procurement.

Other projects nearing completion include Ground Data Terminal installations across East Malaysia, locally manufactured Ground Support Equipment (GSE), and a security drone system—all delivered by G7 Aerospace, contributing USD4.33 million in local content.

Turkish Aerospace praised G7’s performance and announced plans for a long-term partnership, potentially involving future platforms such as the Aksungur UCAV, Hürjet trainer, and KAAN 5th Generation fighter jet. G7 is also being considered as a regional GSE supplier for ANKA systems.
